The ALAN-K (Advanced LeArning Network in Kyoto) Project
SCOPE
Nowadays computers and networks are utilized widely by youngsters to
elders, for a broad variety of purposes. In the coming knowledge
society, the use of computers for creation, connection and
collaboration among these users will become important factors to
support computer-based human activities. This conference is intended
to provide an international forum for the discussion and presentation
of creative and collaborative environments (especially built on
Smalltalk, Squeak and Croquet, but not limited to these) among
researchers, developers and users from not only technical points of
view but also practices and experiences.
REGISTRATION FEE
Early Registation Rate (Before Jan.15): 10,000 Yen
Regular Registration Rate (After Jan.16 and Onsite): 12,000 Yen
Students Rate: 3,000 Yen (Banquet Excluded)
Extra Banquet: 5,000 Yen/Person
Extra Proceedings: 2,000 Yen/Copy
Advance payment can be achieved by credit card(VISA and MasterCard).
Onsite payment is acceptable only by cash in Japanese Yen.
