			WISE 2006  CALL FOR PAPERS

	The 7th International Conference on Web Information Systems Engineering
			Wuhan, China, October 23~26, 2006

The aim of this conference is to provide an international forum for researchers, 
professionals, and industrial practitioners to share their knowledge in the rapidly 
growing area of Web technologies, methodologies and applications. Previous WISE 
conferences were held in Hong Kong, China (2000), Kyoto, Japan (2001), Singapore 
(2002), Roma, Italy (2003), Brisbane, Australia (2004), and New York, USA (2005).

Instructions for submitting research papers and workshop proposals will be
available at the WISE 2006 web site soon.

IMPORTANT DATES

Workshop proposals    15 March 2006
Abstract submission    6 May 2006
Paper submission      19 May 2006
Notice of acceptance  15 July 2006

PUBLICATION
The proceedings of WISE 2006 will be published in two separate volumes by 
Springer in its Lecturer Notes in Computer Science series (which is indexed by 
SCI), one volume for all papers accepted by the main conference, and one volume 
for all papers accepted by all WISE workshops. 
A special issue of the World Wide Web Journal is scheduled in 2007 for publishing 
extended versions of selected WISE 2006 papers.

YAHIKO KAMBAYASHI BEST PAPER AWARD
The WISE Program Committee will select the best paper from all submissions for this 
prestigious award with US$1000.
